Ghana is strategically located with the potential of producing enough agro-based foods to feed herself and other West African countries as well as export to other parts of the world. This however requires deliberate shift towards commercial agricultural production with the knowhow to effectively manage and finance this transformation.

Students who enroll in this program should be able:

  1. To develop their business skills in order to tap into the numerous agribusiness opportunities available locally and internationally.
  2. Develop and/or improve their business plan writing skills and be equipped with the skills to source financing for viable agribusiness projects. 
  3. Develop the needed skills to engage in international agricultural trade.

Entry Requirements:

WASSCE/ SSSCE Applicants

Three (3) passes not below D7 (A1 to D7) or D in three core subjects including English and Mathematics + Two (2) passes in elective subjects.

Mature Applicants

  1. Must be at least 25 years at the time of application.
  2. Must have five (5) credits at the WASSCE/SSSCE level.
  3. Must provide evidence of relevant work experience.
  4. Must pass entrance examination and interview.
